COVID-19 Update

Although life on the farm hasn’t stopped, we are continuing to carefully monitor the situation with COVID-19 and are making necessary adjustments to ensure the safety of those who are on site.

The shared areas and facilities in our offices are being cleaned every day and we are asking that tenants remain mindful of the government’s advice to wear face masks when in shared spaces and to remain two metres apart.

The Hole in the Hedge is currently open for takeaway orders only, although this may change if the current government advice is altered.

Open days and other public events will not be going ahead for the foreseeable future, although we look forward to this changing when it is safe to do so. Greatworth Hall Education Centre is currently closed, but Rosie is happy to respond to enquiries about future bookings and visits.

Although some parts of the business are on pause, the farm is as busy as ever, with sheep to feed and crops to plant. It won’t be long now until our ewes are coming into lamb and although it doesn’t look like we will have any student vets helping us with the lambing this year, we’re looking forward to seeing lambs in our fields again.

Do please continue to stay in touch, either through social media or email, and we look forward to welcoming you back on the farm in the not too distant future.
